Joining the Band

Dear Fellow Musician

Please consider this a personal invitation to “Play Out then Play UP!” with the Bay Cities' Symphonic Band. As a community band we cater for musicians from all walks of life including students, school teachers, accountants, beekeepers, hospital workers, self-employed, retired and more!

Membership is open to all high school & adult brass, woodwind and percussion players who read music at high school level or above and agree to abide by the policies of the organisation. Current subscriptions are $60 per annum plus approximately $30 to cover the entry costs of Festivals.

We rehearse on Thursdays from 7:15pm to 9:00pm in the Hastings Citizens' Brass Band rooms in Orchard Road, Hastings and operate from late January/early February to late October/early November.
